When did you purchase/build this vehicle 2007
Why did you purchase/build this vehicle Always wanted a pre-WW2 Packard Coupe. Found car on eBay in Idaho USA and purchased and shipped it to Australia, See my Project Blog on Packardinfo.com under Project Blogs and Mal's 41 120 Coupe for the full and continuing story.
How often do you drive the vehicle Currently undergoing mechanical restoration, body is good. Will be driven at least weekly and in runs and rallies as they arise.
What are the best features of this vehicle It's a Club Coupe with reasonable rear legroom so has 4/5 passenger carrying capacity. Overdrive, called Aero Drive by Packard. Drop down roof mounted radio aerial. Rear sway bar. Rides and handles well for it's era.
What vehicle would you replace this vehicle with 41 Packard 160 or 180 Club Coupe. THese are "Senior" Packards with a larger engine and better equipment levels.
What should a prospective buyer look for if considering the purchase of a similar vehicle Get the best car you can for the money you're willing to pay. Ensure it is a "Complete car" as parts although available are expensive and some are hard to find.
