Coalfields AMC would like to extend an invitation to all members of the public including social bike and car clubs, sufferers, their families, carers, medical staff, nursing homes and kids of all ages to come along to this years "Dementia Run" and enjoy a picnic on the foreshore.
This years event will be held once again at Griffith Park on the beautiful Stockton Foreshore on the 28th April. The day will commence at 9am and will include raffles, lucky door prize, trade/information stalls and a car & bike show. There will also be food and drinks available to purchase on the day.
Following the mornings activities, around 1pm, we will head out on a ride/procession, to raise awareness, into the Hunter Valley then proceed to Medowie for an after party. There will be plenty of camping space available for people to stay overnight or alternatively you can arrange your own accommodation elsewhere. Cost for the day will be $20 p/p which will include the mornings activities, entry to the ride and after party. Or simply come along, grab a bite to eat and/or a drink, and enjoy the day if you don't wish to be part of the car/bike show, procession and after party.
Please feel free to invite all your family and friends along for the day. We hope to see you all there. For any enquiries Mick Wheatley (Big Mick) 0423 665498, Andrew Redgrove (Red) 0412 371103 or Peter Hall (Hally) 0421 277179. |
